Abstract

Industry 5.0, as the next stage in industrial evolution, should put people back at the center of manufacturing processes. This can be achieved through the use of intelligent interfaces, where AI components will work in collaboration with professional operators on the production floor. This paper formalizes the basic principles for designing such interfaces for gear cutting processes.
