The paper gives information about the influence of modern technologies on communication in the information age. In the last 50 years, digital communication technologies have developed rapidly and become accessible to most of mankind. New technologies have widely impacted the economy, enabling the development of e-commerce. Technological changes have affected politics, become a factor in the information society models development, and changed the communication of citizens with the state. It is concluded that communication has moved to the digital space and emphasized that technology has not only provided a new field for research but also new tools.
